JUNIOR DROP IN COACHING

WEDNESDAY’S FROM 30th APRIL 5:00pm until 6.30pm SKILLS, DRILLS & MATCHPLAY

£5/person Pay then Play

I can source all major name racquets and other equipment at competitive rates and have special rates for Yonex. Restrings on request; prices range from £17-£25 depending on strings used.

Grips supplied and fitted upon request.

Other coaching programmes

Saturdays (Juniors) – from 1 March

9-10am: development group; if you are not sure which group you should be in then come along to this one first

10-11am: intermediates

11-12 noon: advanced

Wednesdays (Adults + older juniors – just turn up, pay and play) - from 27 February

7-8pm: beginners and intermediates; again, if not sure, come to this group

8-9pm: for the heavier hitters who want to work on their game

I've been coaching at Crawley for 3 years, working under Nigel Allingham, learning my trade and currently coach 7 to 70's across 1-2-1's, junior squads and Adult drop-in sessions. I'm a British Tennis Coaches Association member and Instructor with the Professional Tennis Registry having just started my 5th year of service and I expect to complete my LTA Development Coach Award this year.

I've played representative rugby and hockey and swam as a junior international and am very aware of the demands of professional sport but having started tennis as an adult learner, have great awareness of how difficult and technical tennis can be. It's meant to be a sport played for fun just as much competition and I aim to make learning an enjoyable experience. I want everyone to be able to participate in the sport I love.
